So Friday Xavier brought home a baby food jar with cream in it from school. They were trying to make butter. Well, I decided that I needed to shake it a little bit and sure enough we got butter! I think I was a little more into then Xavier but I really did think it was so cool! The best part is that the butter is really sweet and good! I think you should all give it a try!! Yum-O

YUM!!! I actually did this with my fourth graders when I was teaching in Utah! We were learning about the pioneers- so we went on a little trek and shook our jars of cream as we walked and walked....and walked! When we got back to the school we got to partake of the yummy butter on crackers! Lots of fun!
